Kimberley Process, a certification scheme active since 2003, attempts to halt the trade in so-called blood diamonds (rough diamonds sold to finance civil wars) and protect the legitimate diamond trade. It has 49 participants (48 individual states plus the 27-member European Union), representing all the major diamond-exporting and diamond-importing countries of the world. Besides, the diamond industry and various nongovernmental organizations contribute to the process as observers.
We source Kimberly certified diamonds exclusively.
Conflict free diamonds
To ensure your diamond is an untainted symbol of love, we are committed to selling only conflict-free diamonds. Conflict-free diamonds have been mined in countries where there are no conflicts or civil wars. Most of these countries adhere to stringent regulations to control the Kimberley Process's exportation.
